Xbox and PC Game Pass August Lineup: New Releases and Departures

Microsoft has unveiled the next wave of games joining Xbox and PC Game Pass in late August, headlined by the day-one launch of *Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy*, a prequel set on the island of Crete. The game shifts the series' focus from stealth to combat, offering a mix of action, puzzles, and exploration reminiscent of *Tomb Raider* and *Uncharted*.
Another day-one release is *Blood Dungeon*, the new project from *Nidhogg* creator Messhof, which appears to take a Metroidvania approach.
