The EA Sports FC 27 early access trial is now available. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass members can play a 10-hour trial on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Xbox on PC, with progress carrying over to the full game upon purchase.
Members also receive a 10% discount on the full game, FC Points, and other EA digital purchases. Recurring member rewards, such as Ultimate Team Draft Tokens, are part of the offer. EA states the game delivers "community-driven innovations" for more authentic football gameplay.
What's New in FC 27
A major new feature is The Grounds, available only on Xbox Series X|S. This social hub lets players meet, recruit club members, and compete in various football activities. These range from quick Kickabouts to 2v2 matches and full 11v11 stadium tournaments. Players can explore three districts themed around football culture and develop their virtual careers with mentor guidance.
Gameplay and Mode Updates
EA highlights several community-inspired gameplay improvements. Attacking has greater fluidity thanks to better spatial awareness and curved runs from AI teammates. A new off-balance dribbling mechanic helps players maintain momentum through tackles. Set pieces have been redesigned for real-time control, and a new two-player header system aims to make aerial duels more competitive.
Football Ultimate Team introduces the Gallery. This feature allows players to curate and grade sets of Player Items to increase their Gallery Level and earn rewards. In Career Mode, the Transfer Market has been fully rebuilt. EA says it is now faster and more dynamic, with player values influenced by club finances, player potential, ratings, and current form.
Member Rewards and Details
Members can claim two exclusive items for The Grounds by playing before December 1. For more information on EA Play benefits, EA directs users to its social media channels and official website. The service offers unlimited access to a library of EA titles, trials for new games, and the standard 10% digital purchase discount.
The full game, EA Sports FC 27, is available for purchase in an Ultimate Edition for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
