Warhammer Survivors Launches November 10 on Seven Platforms

Warhammer Survivors launches on November 10, bringing a frenetic roguelite survivors experience to seven platforms. Developed by Auroch Digital, the studio behind Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun, the game pits iconic characters from both Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer: Age of Sigmar against endless hordes of enemies.

This is a bullet heaven game in the style of Vampire Survivors, where characters auto-attack and players focus on dodging and selecting upgrades. Key features include fast and frantic gameplay across multiple modes and stages, from the ashen plains of Aqshy to the tight corridors of an abandoned Space Hulk. Players wield an arsenal of familiar weapons like the Boltgun and Astartes Chainsword, which can be mixed with power-ups and evolved into devastating new forms. Meta-progression allows for unlocking new characters, weapons, abilities, and rare relics.

Playable Characters

The game features a roster of over 40 playable champions. Two key examples have been confirmed: Morvenn Vahl from Warhammer 40,000 and Lyssa Revenya from the fantasy setting.

Morvenn Vahl is the supreme commander of the Adepta Sororitas, wielding the Heavy Bolter Fidelis. This weapon can evolve into the Purgator Mirabilis to unlock a Paragon Missile Launcher. Lyssa Revenya is a skilled thief from Lethis who uses a Rope and Grapnel. Its evolved form communes with the spirit of her mentor, Rhea, summoning a screaming banshee that explodes into a damaging ghostly fog.

Other confirmed champions include Malum Caedo, the Space Marine from Boltgun, and Neave Blacktalon, a Stormcast Eternal. They are joined by allies like Cadian Shock Trooper Kozlowski and the unstoppable monster-slayer Gotrek Gurnisson.

Platforms and Availability

Warhammer Survivors achieves a simultaneous seven-platform rollout on November 10. The game will be available on Xbox Game Pass at no extra charge on day one. The full list of platforms is below.

Game Features

Players choose to battle through either the grimdark 41st Millennium or the Mortal Realms of Age of Sigmar. Each stage is a new arena with unique enemy factions and secrets to uncover. Enemy hordes include the ravenous swarms of Tyranids and the skittering, warp-addled abominations of the Skaven.

Weapons like Whirlwind Axes and even a pot of Citadel Nuln Oil paint can be found and upgraded. A mighty cache of passives and power-ups complements the core arsenal. The game is developed in partnership with Warhammer and poncle, the creator of Vampire Survivors. The launch is set for November 10, 2026.
