Riot Games has banned a Valorant cheater who used hacks while wearing a modified 'Evil' Tung Tung Tung Sahur skin. The ban followed a viral video that showed the hacker dominating matches, which prompted a backlash from players questioning the effectiveness of Riot's kernel-level Vanguard anti-cheat.

Footage of the hacker spread quickly on social media. The clip, shared by Valorant Tactic, showed the player using the grotesque 'Evil' skin variant. From a third-person perspective, the cheater was seen walking backwards and firing at walls while opponents died instantly, indicating the use of wallhacks and auto-targeting software.

The video ignited a debate within the community about Riot's security approach. Popular analyst 'vladk0r' posted the clip as a critique, arguing that delayed bans in tournament settings could unfairly alter results. "Imagine losing to a team with this s**t only for them being banned later after [a] few rounds of the bracket, and not being able to do anything with this," he wrote.

Other players echoed concerns about Vanguard's kernel-level access. One argued it compromises user privacy for limited gain, stating, "Cheaters own and control the hardware the game runs on, they always find a way eventually." Another user joked, "Kernel-level anti-cheat really thought it could stop Tung Tung Tung Cheat-Hur."

Riot's Response and Ban Details

Riot's anti-cheat director, Phillip Koskinas, responded publicly on Twitter. He confirmed the player's ban and disclosed specific details about the account and the cheat used. Koskinas described the cheat software as 'lowskill vibeslop'.

He provided the following data in his post:

DetailInformation
Riot IDFaeL o Anacondo#br1
Ban Date2026-09-03
Games Played3
Cheat Name"Sysinfo" (lowskill vibeslop)

Koskinas stated that hiding the hacker's Riot ID was "pointless." He acknowledged areas for improvement, writing, "We can detect anything with time, but VAL is a free to play game."

The incident highlighted the ongoing challenge of cheating in free-to-play titles like Valorant. While Riot's systems ultimately detected and removed this particular hacker, the viral nature of the footage showed player frustrations with the experience of encountering cheaters before bans are applied.

The hacker's use of the 'Evil' Tung Tung Tung Sahur skin, a distorted version of a viral meme character, added a bizarre and memorable visual element to the breach. The account played only three games before the ban was enacted, ending the brief reign of the dastardly-looking cheater.
