Square Enix Offers $85 Bundle for Complete FF7 Remake
Square Enix is selling a digital bundle of all three Final Fantasy 7 Remake games, including next year's Final Fantasy 7 Revelation, for $85.
Square Enix is now selling a digital bundle containing the entire Final Fantasy 7 Remake trilogy for $85. The bundle includes Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, and the upcoming Final Fantasy 7 Revelation, which launches on April 7, 2027.
The offer was announced on Thursday, shortly after a new trailer and release date for Revelation were revealed. The bundle is a temporary promotion, available from now until the final game's release next year.
Bundle Details and Value
The $85 price point represents a significant saving over purchasing the games individually. Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade typically sells for $40, while Rebirth is priced at $50 following a recent price drop. Buying the first two games separately would cost a certain amount, making the trilogy bundle cheaper while also including the unreleased third title.
| Game | Typical Standalone Price |
|---|---|
| Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade | $40 |
| Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth | $50 |
| Total for First Two Games | A certain amount |
Kotaku suggests the deal is a move by Square Enix to "juice the sales numbers for the whole trilogy." The bundle offers a clear advantage for players who have waited for the entire trilogy to be announced before starting.
What the Bundle Includes and Excludes
The specific version of the final game included in this package should be noted. The bundle contains the standard edition of Final Fantasy 7 Revelation. It does not include the $100 version, which offers early access to the game or any planned downloadable content.
The report advises that players who have not yet experienced the first two games might want to purchase the bundle soon to have ample time to complete Remake and Rebirth before Revelation arrives early next year.
Platform Availability
The digital bundle is currently available for purchase on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC storefronts. However, Kotaku notes a potential omission for Nintendo Switch 2 owners.
For those wanting to pick up the deal on Switch 2, it does not seem to be available on the eShop yet. The report states it is unclear if this is an oversight or if Square Enix does not plan to offer the same bundle to Switch 2 owners. The offer remains live on other platforms until April 7, 2027.
