The Duskbloods Release Date Denied by Nintendo

Nintendo denies The Duskbloods release date of 24th September, stating no official release date has been announced

The release date for The Duskbloods has been a topic of discussion, with some outlets suggesting it would be available on 24th September. However, Nintendo has stepped in to deny this claim, stating that the release date is inaccurate.

Release Date Controversy

The controversy surrounding the release date began when The Guardian included the 24th September date in an early preview of the game. This was part of a trip to Tokyo where select publications were able to play the game in advance of the upcoming network test. Other publications on the trip did not include the release date, instead opting for a more vague "later this year" timeframe.

Nintendo was contacted to confirm the validity of the release date, and an official spokesperson responded by saying that the release date is inaccurate because no information has been released regarding the game's launch date. This denial comes just one day before a closed network test, which some members of the public were able to sign up for after a Nintendo Direct trailer last month.

Network Test and Leaked Footage

The closed network test is set to take place soon, and some players are eager to get their hands on the game. However, leaked gameplay footage that appeared online earlier was quickly taken down. The footage was re-uploaded to social media platform Bilibili before being removed again.

For those who are unsure if they have access to the network test, a guide is available that breaks down the steps to check.

Nintendo's Stance

Nintendo's denial of the release date suggests that the company is not ready to announce a official launch date for The Duskbloods. The game is expected to be released later this year, but no concrete date has been set. With the network test set to take place soon, players will have to wait and see when the game will be available on the Nintendo Switch 2.

The denial of the release date has left some players wondering when the game will be available. For now, Nintendo remains tight-lipped about the launch date, and players will have to keep waiting for an official announcement.
